Default RS2000 Brake Master Cylinder fitted to a MK6 Si

Hi guys,

With fitting a zetec turbo to my MK6, I'll need a brake upgrade. I've heard that an RS2000 or 130ps Escort master brake cylinder is better and will fit? Also a mondeo 2.0L one? Anybody know if this is true?

Cheers!

not sure that just the brake master cylinder will help mate, what calipers etc are you planning on using ?

I've already got an RS2000 rear beam setup and planning on replacing my RS2000 260mm's with ST170 300mm jobbies...my car is a non-abs model. I've also heard that the mondeo servo will fit on an escort cylinder, but you have to cut away at the bulkhead?

i have no idea about the mondeo parts mate, but im sure it wouldnt do any harm to use the RS2000 item with the RS2000 rear brakes and ST170 fronts, they are cheap enough to get hold of, i was going to be using St170 brakes on my RS2000 4x4 until i got some AP's
