So this is the old project, look further down for the new one...

And thanks to my mate Paul at North Yorks, here is the new shell !!!
(He said it was "ok"......Pauls "ok" actually means raving mint !!!!!!)

So it looks like i have really got my work cut out......

Thankfully a very good mate(seveneighths off here)has offered me his large workshop to build it in......
He also supplied me the motor(from his abandoned project)and let me pilfer loads of his stash(also from his project).......He`s the best.....

driving around with greys and a 4wd intercooler? isnt it better to buy a rs500IC before the charge temps are to high.
but its a nice project
Will Hopefully sort a proalloy one m8 by the time its finished......
Ran the last car at 365bhp with a 4x4 cooler and that was ok,if i have to use it,i will be keeping a close eye on the charge temps mate.......

Right Guys.......Out with the old .....in with the new.
This is the new project....a bit more realistic for the amount of time and money(or rather the lack of it) that i have available at the moment, hope fully it wont take 12 months to do.
Here is the shell,it RS Nuts old saff that he decided to break recently when the engine let go.........The shell is fairly good outwardly, but what sold me on it is the floor and chassis legs.....absolutely fookin mint,so a bit of paint work on the body and ill have a goodun......
Price was pretty reasonable as well and he left a shitload of bits and bobs on it.
Heres pics once we got it home(we fitted running gear to get it rolling)

Engine bay with new running gear fitted, just needs a tidy up and some bling

Heres the inside, not too bad now we have put all the loom back in and started to tidy it ready for some seriuos ICE wiring and some trim

And heres what well be throwing in the hole in the engine bay.............A nice fresh motor fully rebuilt by Steve Scott @ A1 Rallysport....

It was a 4x4 but cos i think they are for nancy boys and girls well be building it up as a 2wd...
Might leave on the badges though just to fool everyone(theyll be shocked when they see it broadside).....
Will be running all 4x4 spec,inc....cooling system,L8 and loom, etc just with 2wd instead of 4b4
Cant wait to get stuck in and will stick updates up as i do it.
CheeRS.....................Rob....
