Smile Superchips!

I decided to check my ecu and chip the other day and found it to have the Superchips P3 chip.

They say it is good for 330bhp.

Is this chip good in comparison to a motorsport developments chip or pts online chip?

Thanks

I am not a fan of Superchips. There are grossly overrrated.
You know the history of this company? They started out using the name Detection Techniques. They were the first to have a chip for the Cosworth but because of the many blown engines there nickname became very soon "Destruction Techniques". After that they changed their name to Superchips. Your choice to use them or not.

In my car with this chip AFR increase from 11.5-11.7(when was 60mm tube + 4wd manifold) to 12.4-12.3(2wd + 80mm) at full boost - so it depends from spec of car. closed loop is working: 14.6-14.8 at idle. But when start cold engine AFR is too low imo - 10.0-10.5(engine temp = 5...10C); at my previouse uknown chip st1 afr at this case was above - about 11.5.

Yura, It's not fair to blame the chip or it's tuner for the change in AFR after mounting a different exhaust and a different exhaust manifold. The only one to blame is you, because you changed the exhaust and the manifold.
No chip for a Weber-Marelli computer can be setup to cope with exhausts ranging from 60 to 80 mm. It works either with a 60 mm exhaust or it works with a 80 mm exhaust.
Get your chipped remapped by somebody who knows what he is doing.

I don't have problems with this chip, mate . after changing manifold and exhaist system boost don't drop at hi revs - its good. AFR 12.3-12.5 is good too(I can adjust it a little by fuel pressure settings), no problems. In my country I don't have any Weber-Marelli tuner. So in future I will swap Weber-Marelli ECU and put GT2876.63 or some of the GT30 - I don't have onother choise - very bad that MSD and other tuners don't have chip for Garrett GT turbos... ((((
