Default insurance due, who do you use ?

ok then, my insurance is due at end off next month,

im only 19 but will have 2 year no claims,

im using my dads policy just now but will be using my own when i renew my policy,

sooo 19 Male 2 year no claims ERST TPFT

who should i use,

ecarinsurance.com want £1030 ish

herd about classic insurance any1 tell me the in / outs of that

any help wil be great

Ive got mine with autotrader and i pay £230 fully comp they where the chepest and offerd the best policy i could find last year but then im 29 and have 9 years no claims. Have you tryed one of the comparison companys like confused.com or comparethemarket.com

Elephant beat the other by a long shot! If you use a comparison site and get a half decent price, try going to the companies own site and it ll probably be cheaper again

Classic car i think from wat i can remeber craig having his cossie insured under classic, u have to have another car insured as ur "full time car" and can only do so many miles?? could be wrong tho!

try HIC as they allow upto £1500 of mods without effecting the premium
I'm paying £380, have got 4 yrs ncd and i'm 26 for ref

you ll be lucky if any of them will insure u im not sure if it was our car but alot of the said coz i was only 23 they wouldnt insure us and craig is 28!!!

do u think its coz it was an import as well that it was harder to get insurance?

im also with HIC and im 23, 0 years no claims (second car), all declaired on mods,rs turbo cabriolet with 5000 limited miles. £330 a year.

could we make a sticky with the names of insurance firms, i see one of these atleast once a week, maby for the really lazy people we could even have a link to there website? or even if they post theres details we could all find them a good quote.

anyway back to the question. i always use an insurance company that covers cars!

im with them cost me £550 fully comp agreed value of 3k no no claims as it was a seperate policy, with 6 points for two pig induced petty speeding fines (one of which for been outside a school at noon on a fucking sunday doing 36 mp fucking hour!!!!!!!)
I was 27 when I took it out but it is limited to 5k miles.
give them a try for a quote

Have you tried Brentacre? £500 fully comp with everything/Any mods as long as power not exceed 210bhp...

Greenlight, £600 Fully comp. S2 2.1 zetec turbo, all mods declared. kept on the road. Agreed value of £6000. Was only £470 until I had to give them an approx bhp figure (300bhp) for once its mapped. I'm 27 7ync. 0points... yet.

Adrian Flux for me, had escort van 1.8d full kit etc, commercial insurance, all mods declared, wass 22, 0 yrs no claims £700 fully comp, and vauxhall corsa 1.4i 0 yrs no claims now 23/24 £300 fully comp
