Anyone know the size of the hose from the thermostat to the heater matrix on a Escort/Fiesta CVH?

i ordered some the other day from roose and think its 16mm?

What part do you measure the Inside or outside of the pipe?

Also is that the same size pipe used on the focus and mondeo with Zetecs in. As I know the thermostat is different from the CVH.

 

measure the inside of the hose or the outside of the piece of plastic/metal that the hose joins to

 

id imagine the inside as the outside can vary depending on hose, it was explained to me that there is different amounts of layers depending on what its use is i.e oil retardernt, heat proof, waterproof etc (just guesing though)
