power steering leak!!!
my cossie has always had this the pipe from the power steering fluid resivour to the pump has always weeped!i changed the pipe and clip a couple of years ago, which never cured it!!as i now changing everything just wondered if anyone else has had this problem and how u cured it?
Mine does it too
Mine is leaking from the joint on the return pipe
I've been told that I can cure it by cutting it off and putting the rubber hose onto the hard pipe with a jubilee clip but I haven't got around to it yet.
hmm mines weeping from where the bigger pipe connect to the fliud resivour wonder if maybe going over to a baileys one might cure it!failing that i sense some sealant coming to play

i already tried a new one from ford a couple of years ago which did not stop it

It is normally the bottles themselves. When you do the clip up, it squeezes the bottle connection slightly, allowing it to continue weeping.
Try and find a metal insert they you can slide into the connection (must be a snug fit) and then try connecting it back together. This should prevent the bottle connection from crushing and therefore prevent the weep.
It is a common problem with expansion bottles for coolant systems. Most manufacturers now put a small metal insert into the hose connections, especially on the smaller-bore return ones. Same principle would apply to PAS bottles though.
