I think its a form of abuse myself but...

...y do parents force u to listen to their crappy music when ur young!

It dont really afffect u then, but when ur 22 sat in front the radio & Meat Loaf comes on & u realise u know all the words it hits u!

and and remeber Paul Young,,,him to Duran Duran

I know the words to all Cliff Richards songs... all the cheeesy pop stuff he did in the 90's as well

Boney M, Abba... alll the shit.

BUT they also got me into Billy Joel and Queen and they are class!

My Mums borrowed a mix CD of mine as theres a song on it somewhere that she likes, although its got RatPack (no not the 3 blokes,,,pmsl ) on the end of it,,,,its "Don't Go" or "Sweet Harmony" can't remeber which now,,,,think shes quite getting into it now

parents used to listen to Queen, The Police, Paul Simon, Meat Loaf, Johnny Cash and others - amazing how their musical taste kinda sticks in you really - love listening to Queen and Paul Simon - Meat Loaf is fantatsic and The Police are cool aswell.

Try listening to John Denver, Simon and Garfunkel, Bee Gees, etc, etc My Dad love his old Country stuff........

(And I still actually like some of their songs )

Just think tho, when your older your kids will laugh at you and your music But atm, my 4 year old loves the sound system in the Esc Cos

Last count I had 15 Queen albums only regret is not seeing them live (knebworth Magic Tour) when I had the chance.. And I also have Travis the man who

Thankfully my Dad's musical taste didnt rub off on me.. Jim Reeves, Abba etc.

I remember having to listen "Johnny Cash" and that was fecking rank and so was his name I didnt mind some of the Shadows, my mum was a big Shirly Bassey fan ...Thats possibly why I have brain damage ....
