Im going to have a look at a 3 door Cos tomorrow that for sale, any advice of what to look out for and or anything i should know about.

Its a D reg Moonstone one, 88k, 10 previous owners, lots of paperwork (supposidly)sp, stage 1 mods etc, £11K

Any advice would be great.

 

I would say its wants to be mint for that money really but they are increasing in value..

Check the inner wings under the header tank for repairs or cracks, they seem to really rust here, also check drivers side but passenger seems to be the one which allways go. Expensive to repair and the innerwings and outer wings are like rocking horse shit now..

i would say, that for 11k, if anything is wrong with it at all, walk away
got to be worth around the 8-9k mark from that description!

88k and an 11k price tag, and 10 owners, foook me, that makes mine worth about 15k+

 

I would expect a low mileage (40k?) minter for that sort of money!

This is £12k and prestine with rust around strut top, missing part of the side moulding and slightly scruffy interior.

Yep thats the one, lots of surface rust here and there, welding needed, interior smells really bad, headlining moldy/wet, boot was full of water, horrible wheels, very oily engine, other than that it was perfect.

Who wants to do a deal on there 3 Door against my Monte then!
