hey peps been working on the three door again tnt and started to remove the tca mounts inner and outer but came accross a hitch, the mounts that go onto the chasis legs one of the bolts has been replaced for a 10mm thread nut and bolt but do you think i can access this from the floor pan inside the car???

sounds like it
there are vents in the floorpans that give you access to these area's, you may need to chop them out but they will do the trick
most likely that the orignals hve snapped inside and thats the only way to get them out

sorry guys done me homework today and realised i dont know what im talking about its actually the anti roll bar that fits onto the chasis rails, this must be common cause i remember me old 3 door had the same bolt replaced but they cut the chasis rail out and re-welded after fitting bolt (not cool)
When mine stripped out, insted of using a nut and bolt I bought a set of arb mounting bolts for a granada...next size up but still with a 13mm spanner head. Just drilled and tapped out the captive nut to suit.
Its possible for a really skilled welder to weld onto the stub - the added advantage being that the heat loosens the rust as well. I'd go through the floor and repair it with an inspection panel kind of thing. Just my view as it will be out of sight

What do you reckon on this manifold: it had cracked and has been rewelded at the 'flange' where it bolts to the turbo.
