Hey all! About a month ago some one broke into my S2 when I was changing the clutch on it (when batt was disconnected so no alarm)!

The nicked 3 amps and a 15-inch sub!

They broke the passenger side lock so I decided I wouldn't fix it and would get the car de-locked.

I taped it up and left it. Went to lakeside the next week and some one else smashed my drivers side lock and dented the door above the lock. They didn't get in and must of been scared away.

Is my door fixable and how much will it cost to get de-locked and straightened.

Does any one know of any good places that can do this near Cambridge??

when some fukka broke into my old mk4 i took the lock out and bent the edges in with a hammer, and screwed a metal plate behind it, then body fillered on top. then resparyed the door.

that was passenger side tho cos i didnt have central locking.

not too hard to diy

 

most decent bodyshops to weld both doors prep and paint both doors should charge you 2-300 quid

if want paint blended up the adjacent panels price a little more

 

if you could send the door's to me i will de lock them and spray them for you, where are you from dude.

youre were probably looking at about 100-150 to delock (+paint) just one door?

my driverside lock's rusted to feck where some theiving scum had a go at it, so easier to get it delocked than repair...

was gonna get just that door delocked, dont really care that both sides dont match

shit and I thought they were after my head unit or somin!! sorry to hear that. They need to make a security system that throws flames out the side of the car or shocks em or somin and make it legal.

make sure - while they are doing it they weld a plate over to stop the old coat hanger trick too..
