Is there any other way, apart from the obvious Mayo on dipstick, of telling that my headgasket is on its way out?? Ive been told that sometimes if it is, it can blow the rad, and ive just had to get a new one, is this true, or could it just be a coincidence?

 

mine has just gone on mine ZVH, but it hasnt blown my rad, just smoked shit loads and mayo in breather system and rocker cover

 

As above mayo in breather system check in header tank too also is it losing water might be few more but i cant remember.
never heard about it blowing the rad!!!!!

Check for oil and water mixing in the exspansion tank, mayo in the filler cap is not usually a sign on h/g going but a blocked breather. Hope it aint serious mate

 

Me too Ad, was saving for my F/m cooler as well, gonna check my breather etc tonight! Exhaust sounds liek its blowing now too!!

Just had a quick look in the breather pipe, and also in the filler cap, and its full of mayo like shit!! Thatll be the headgasket gone then!!

How much am i lookin at, and which one do i need as its a ZVH?
