I have shit loads of messages asking about items im not selling ,,I have clicked on the item number and it does show my name etc as the seller .

I have mailed ebay / changed my password etc , but have heard nothing back from ebay

is there any other way i can contactebay ,,a phone number etc because the system seems crap and im not happy they will sort this asap

its not been hacked, its just people trying to get you to respond, when you responde it will ask for your password, and user name. don't reply to them.

oh just reread it again. When you log into your ebay, does it actually show it as you selling them?

as they may have just made the link and added your name up the top to make you think its yours.

 

But there is a item for sale and people have bid on it ,,i have checked and its defo there

Can you end item early or will it not let you as it has bids?

 

it hasn't been hacked then. they will have made a link for an item, then added your user name and feedback up the top.( the feedback may not even be exactly as yours check, but don;t log in) they message you, you click on the link and the idea is you put your password in for them to see it.

 

if you are a power seller you will have a number to ring

ok it is genuine then but not sure why its NOT showing in your ebay as an item for sale. You won't be able to end early either as its less than 12hrs to go. You changed your password already, have you checked your email address is the same still?

unless your hacker change it to his? but if he done that i would have thought he would have changed the pass word too, which he obviously hasn't.

 

a dont understand it either mate , did u get any random messages from another users with a link to click on at all , as av heard of them doing that and as soon as u click on it , it sends them ure username and password .

I had this happen a few years ago and ebay dealt with it quickly. Because the item number above doesn't exist I'm guessing they have dealt with it.

When this happened to me I emailed them at around midnight and by 2 am they had closed all the listings down that I had, had a top service from em.

I was allegedly selling over 300 mobile phones on a 1 day listing.... marvellous.

You must have replied to an email at some point which has allowed them to hack your account. The trick is, never to reply to any questions or mails, UNLESS they are actually in your e-bay Messages list.

 

i had same as XRdodgybird, checked my ebay one day and had hundreds of mobile fones for sale, f**king scammers aint got not nothing betta to do.

My mum had her account hacked in exactly the same way, and she didn't answer a single message from Ebay or any other phishing email...
