Heard nothing but good things in terms of tuning though apparently his time limits arent great but he has an understandable reason for this in that he apparently builds/maps a lot of genuine race cars etc...

He's based in Essex btw.

This is my concern. That he's not going to be interested in doing a bit of fault finding when he's building race cars etc...

Maybe I should take it back to Harvey. Can't be arsed to drive to Peterborough

Known Tommy and his family for fookin years before Field Motorsport even existed. As i'm sure many will agree, one of the best out there, always helpful and being an enthusiast himself does him loads of favours. An absolute driving god as well!!!!

Always busy but always willing to help where he can.

You can tell you spent the weekend with Mike R lol. No real reason really other than I didn't want to drive all the way to peterborough, which is 2 1/2 hours+ if I could get a good job done 35 minutes down the road.

Dan, I got that once or twice othertimes it ws less noticable. Pretty much as soon as I'd recorded the boost activity on the defi's a couple of times I stopped driving it though. Don't like the idea of driving it at all when it's not 100%
How much does the conversion work out at all in?

Good point Chop, i've just changed my whole pump assembly for a Bosch 044 pump and brand new motorcraft fuel filter, plus i've just put in a brand new Braided fuel pump loom!

Dom, you'd have to check his website mate, coilpack driver is Ł150, another ignition Amp (I paid Ł4 ), Coilpack Ł55?, Leads Ł70ish, Coilpack loom Ł80ish (I got mine cheap from Ryan ) think that's about it really, can't wait to get mine on!

crank sensor is my bet

20quid odd for a new one is a worthwhile investment anyhow

or give it a good clean and check the wire

hello dom how you been?
tommy's work is damn good tbh and i know quite a few of his customers and staff.
but i also rate harvey

as for your problem.you are a 4x4 arent you?when harvey chipped mine i had the same sort of problem.after he spentand hour changing bits and taking up the road itturned out to be the stupid connector blocks on the bulkhead causing it.they needed a bit of contact cleaner onthem and they were fine.he didnt chagre a penny for it either

if you havent changed your loom or cut them out it may be them.

do you know smit? He takes his car to someone near bury who's pretty handy. I'd take a look if you want, i'm just near newmarket. Just need to find the time to do it, as i'm snowed under with private work at the minute! Have had and solved plenty of misfires in the past though!

It might be worth speaking to Steve (popper) as he knows his shit Dom, he was out running his in the other night, must have been one of the sweetest running engines ive heard, seamed to go ok with .5bar of boost to, should be a weapon once finished.
