Whats the difference from normal mk3 box? slipper? ratios?

fifth gear ratio was different (0.83:1 compared to 0.76:1)

no LSD if i remember right

So reduces top end speed? but quicker through the gears?

There were five different ratios available for 5th gear. Most common was the mentioned 0.83, means the ratio is closer to 4th than on standard gearbox. Final drive was the same like the carb'd XR3 and the S2 RST had. No LDS, but a hole in the bottom of the bellhousing for the cps
