Default help ! fueling

hi can anyone help, just got meter head off a m8, put it on my car and ive f**k that up as well, i know it was working cos he came over in the car so ive had inuff of mfi im going to go to some sort of efi setup is it just the injection that i need or have i got to get a new engine (4 all the senors) as well cos mine as only got 2000mile on it .any help wolud be g8

hi my metering head was over fueling to the point of flooding for about 2 or 3 days and then one afternoon it just starterd flooding from the base of the metering head i tuck it off and cleaned round the base refitted and it still leaked all over the place, i have tried another one it didnt leak it just flooded the engine is there any way of testing the units cos i even bought a recon about 6 month ago and that didnt work could it be somthing wrong with my car, it got a new fuel pump, filter, full ss fuel lines to the same bore. the car is totally standard can anyone shed any light on this prob thanks

You've propably killed one of the o-rings from inside the metering head. It's not a joy to overhaul the unit. You'll need lots of gaskets and o-rings and I don't even know if they are available from bosch anymore.

make sure your injectors are still holding pressure an aint leaking all the time

aye,,i got telt,,the meterheeds were none servicable,,got a garrunteed one off gaybay,.
