From your rims?

Ive heard wonderwheels mentioned a few times?

Also if you buy these products do they come with a brush or something to apply it?

Clean Wheels Trigger 500ml is a super effective spray on,brush and wash off cleaner which rapidly dissolves most contaminants from alloy, chromium, painted and plastic trimmed wheels

Sounds a better bet than wonder wheels then

How often do you use it? is it like a once a month thing or just sometimes to keep the amount of dust down?

I used to clean my wheels all the time, like every time i took the car out as the wheels are white i used to put a bit of polish on the wheels to help protect them

hmmm i was looking on Halfords website at the Auto Glym range and i saw this http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...tegoryId_31526

Do you think that would be better for my wheels since im not sure if there lacquered or not, if im right and there not then i wouldnt be doing any damage since its not acid based

Most mentioned are pretty evil, want a safer product, or at least water down an acidic one.
Best thing to do is get poorboys wheel sealant, and use that as a barrier, makes cleaning a lot easier.
Brake dust is evil stuff.
Poorboys wheel cleaner would be best of so far mentioned.

If not caked, try shampoo and sponge.
Any baked on a claybar may remove.
Getting them nice and clean then sealed is main thing, be an idea to give them a good polish to clean them and also give a well prepared surface for the sealant to stick to.

I use to use wonder wheels. Fantastic stuff, but wont use it on my RS7's. Just use shampoo and water. Mind you, never let my wheels get that dirty so the dust comes of pretty simple.

What I have done before is spray tyre shine over wheels, makes them shiny, and all dust sits on top.
Look dirtier quicker, but comes off with ease.
