got a s2 escort rs. had it for like 6 months now. always had 17's on. but just wondering if i put the standard 15's on, would i feel the difference in performance (on pull)

 

Will be marginally quicker if you can control wheel spin.

would a wheel at 17 with a 35 aspect be faster than with a 15 and a 60 aspect ?? or visa-versa--------same circumferance!!!!!!!-am i right in thinking!!a ferrari on 13inch wheels is a lot faster than on 19s- I NEED TO GET MY ED AROUND THIS FAST------cheers- L.hamilton- FROM ZURICH

 

slightly better performance but a much better drive, can never understand why peeps but 17,s on rs turbos just ruins the feel of the car unless you need them to fit big brakes of course

 

they was on there when i brought them. but they look the nuts mate. i got sum proper rare ford wheels

 

they drive ten times better with 15's, as for traction try laying some decent 195/50/15 tyres next to some cheap 205/40/17's and you'll notice they are the same height!
my 205/50/15's are half inch wider than my other 215/40/16 falkens!!

 

Ask your mum can you borrow the bathroom scales, and ask your boss about weights
