Hi guys,
Thinking of buying an escos shell to put my running gear in but its all 2wd stuff so what needs doing to run the car rwd...
I have 2wd saph front x-member, 2wd sapphy rear beam, T5 box
I assume it's going to involve a gearbox mount and some sort of prop mod....enyone got info on this?
Cheers

. Prop-reon will do the shortened Prop for about Ł150 I think last time I asked , including a re-balance. Everything will bolt straight up as well
. Exhaust will need to be 4x4 as well.

You can use the Escort Cos ARB's (thicker and stronger, much better) but you need to use the Escort mounts and bushes as well

Will is getting me a new sierra gearbox mount it's the same as a 4wd one but with a square center instead of the round one so that will fit on the t5 no probs and no mods

You need to take a notch out of it if you want to run a speedo cable, apart from that it bolts straight on. Diva has the ford part code and they are only Ł20ish.

Yeah I've spoken to Dave about the shell with the cage but he wants good money for it and i'd have to buy lots of bits to make it complete so probably mean another 2k to finish.
However the one I sent you a link to has all the bits needed...literally drop lump, x-member, t5 prop and rear beam and it's moving
It's painted up nice and has full interior...seam welded etc....ticks all the right boxes just a shame about the 3dr shell we found you want it as a spare? know anyone who'll give me what I paid for it..shame to see it go to waste.

You will have to shorten the 2wd prop a little for it to fit. Off the top of my head I think it was about 60mm if I remember correctly.
