anyone got cossie 4 pots under series 1 alloys if so how

Its possible but not worth it.

Due to the size of the calipers because of the fact that they are 4 pot they foul the back of the spokes unless you have some biggish spacers on the wheels - which obviously isn't ideal and then will affect handling and possibly also arch clearances if you run your car silly low.

4wd calipers and 2wd discs would be an easier upgrade.

have 4wd on know tryed rear disks but had problems so went back to drums thought 4 pot might have made a difference

wont bleed pedal goes to floor every time but keep hearing about swaping end so that put me of but heard its better to use 260mm discs

disc size does not matter.

Biggest mistake people make is trying to bleed them in position on the hub.

They need undoing and swinging round so the bleed nipple is uppermost at the top.

We have a 4 pot kit with a 2 piece bell and rotor that fits under S1 alloys but as its all new components its priced around £650

Not your DIY 2nd hand market prices though, but everything is new so it still works without being siezed up all the time lol

what about bias valve some people say they are needed as other have no trouble with out

It can sometimes be easier to balance front and rear braking on discs with pad selection.

Bias valve can be fitted but most people have not got a clue what they are doing with them and thats where the danger starts.

They keep winding off pressure because the rears are locking up, when in fact they should be adding it.
