Default How to upgrade to cossie brakes (Escort MK4) ?

If I want to use 283mm Sierra Cosworth 2WD brake discs on an MK4 with the original Escort RST S2 calipers, then I have to use front caliper mounting brackets, as shown here: http://www.rsrich.force9.co.uk/zetec-turbo/sale.htm

Unfortunately they do not answer to any questions, or orders.

Could anyone help me, and tell me the measuements of this bracket, so I can have it done by a local shop?

why not change the caliper too, youre gonna get uneven pressure on the pad cause the piston wont cover it all, plus the piston is no bigger so there wont be much increase in braking pressure and you might not be able to fit the larger pads into the caliper, why not use 2wd calipers too?

we upgraded to 4x4 calipers, disks, and pads on my mates 3i the other day, and all we needed was a couple of 3mm washers and it bolted straight on.

major difference in braking, and these were standard disks and pads!
before and after

The 4x4 and RST calipers have exactly the same size pistons.

Is the 4x4 caliper not slightly bigger to allow for a bigger pad tho?? so it would be better to fit 4x4 clipers for the increased pad surface

Süni says:

The 283mm disks are a bolt-on option for the 260mm's, so that's easier, and here in Hungary it's much more difficult (and expensive ) to get the calipers, pads, etc. too.

If you scroll down the page, you will see the two pads side by side:
