Why is it that most of guys that write into passion FORD talk about the F***** Jap stuff!! Can these people write in the jap forums which I assume there are loads of them and keep this forum for guys who want to talk about FORD cars. Or am I talking nonsense?

But seriously people ask this all the time and its a community- I would say 95% of people on here have had or still have or have an interest in a Ford of some sort at one time.

Most people have moved on or have other cars too - so whats the problem with tapping into a valuble resource on here?

It don't really bother me when they talk about jap or bmw

What bothers me is when they think there a better person than you for owning one

 

It makes me laugh when people say japanese reliability its the best. Ive worked on many jap cars and they are just the same as any other car manufacture. I respect the fact that people have had fords and now moved on and ford arnt the best car in the world. But why do people slag them off. I love my fords but that doesnt mean to say that i dont like any other cars. People are entitled to there opinion too.

 

Dont see a problem with it at all. It makes the site better in my opinion. Its general discussion so it includes anything and everything (almost ). The dedicated rooms are there to talk Ford only, if thats what you want.

 

Cause despite how much we love our Fords you cant beat a nice Evo for comfort with a bit of power

 

Thanks for all the comments and F*** all who F*** me. I assume when you move on to another brand of car, you might move to another forum as well. I intented with the most respect couse my only interest are Ford cars and thats why I write sometimes here.
I will not back off to Malta couse I am here and I rather stay here in the SUN then in the UK in that grey wheather and all that rain. Here it's only missing a track couse the rest we got here. Ask all the brits who retire and come and live here!!!
And ask Dave and Nick of Performance Ford magazine how nice is here!!!! And they are coming again next May for the show that I organize, the Maltese ford enthousiast day!! So those who might consider a trip next Summer they might consider to came and see few of the most beutyfull Fords in Europe.

Or are you referring to one of the specific rooms, like the Rs Turbo room or the escort cosworth room?


If its general discussion you are referring to, then what the hell do you expect in a room so clearly labelled as NOT specifically about fords?

If its the other rooms (the ones that are meant to be about fords) then yes that does sound like a real shame, but I cant say ive ever noticed it personally.

 

To me General Discussion should be General discussion about fords seeing as the website is called Passionford!

If people come on here to talk about other makes,brands etc then set a room up specifically for that then?

 

There are plenty of rooms to disucss fords though, if you dont want ot see the non ford discussion, just stay in those rooms?

I’m a big ford fan... But I don’t have one at the moment....

GD Is one of the best foum’s on the net.... So so much knowledge, people who have had other cars can share experience, advise etc, That’s why I love it....

I spend hours trawling it to find out about other cars and to have a laugh with everyone....

It’s the way it goes not everyone is going to have a ford forever, and it shows what a good forum it is when people stay and don’t have a ford....

For example when I had the supra I used to go on the mk3supra forum all the time... But all they talk about is mk3 Supra’s..... Gets boring... But with passionford there is always interesting information about different cars...

Agreed, but if you want narrow minded pure fordness, there are rooms for that too.

PF does both REALLY well IMHO

 

I think it's good that there is chat of all marques, nothing worse than the blinkers going.

 

Maybe they need to make it clearer what this section is for, maybe with flashing neons and paint by numbers?

 

General Discussion about Ford cars and their assosiated problems this forum should be about. There are so much other forums about everything and anything that Passion FORD should all about FORDS. That's how I think it and probably I am RIGHT.

it really dosent bother me tbh.im a car fanatic,therefore im happy to talk about all sorts of cars.just my prefered marque is ford lke to know whats going on in other marques too.as in mods etc

this room is for all sorts off chat,whether its cars or someone who is after mortgage advise its all good
