just come back from norfolk and egt was reading 850-900c sensor is pre turbo is this normal or not

950 oC before the turbo is ok,

850 - 920 oC after turbo is the most you want to see.

matters where the sensors put, and hows the engines running.

but 75+oC will be seen sensor fitted next to turbo, before and after.
