Default Is this gone? :wall:

This is the result of a leisurely drive around local area

Driving at 25-30mph and this happens

The alloy isnt gone is it? The buckle is only on the outer lip and is about 2-3mm out of shape.

dont look too bad, as long as it aint cracked should be ok to use for a while if it isnt losing air, maybe a wheel refurber can reshape it? wouldnt recommend driving fast on it though

I'm taking this ALL THE WAY as I ain't having my car damaged due to theh council's incompetance. If they refuse I'll be going to an ombudsman and if necessary, taking them through a small claims court.

Is this alloy unusable now? Forget the tyre, I'm worried about my alloy as you can't get them in the UK any more

I have had the worst couple of weeks of my life. I was telling my girlfriend last night about how I wish I could rewind these past two weeks back and this just adds salt into the wounds.

One problem fixed=Another one arises.

My luck has just been shit poor at the moment. I wouldnt be surprised if there's structural damage underneath in which case I would be absolutely ranting and raving my head off at the highways agency if they refuse to pay out.

right just been onto BJV engineering and been quoted about £45 after I sent the picture through on email to have it reshaped and powder coated again.

Will also be getting my new tyre on it and balanced as well (extra cost) and making sure I get a proper invoice stamped and dated to send to council as well.

BJV were recommended by a few people on here so I hope they do a good job

Will post pics on how it goes and update on council situation.
