Default Rust remover (the liquids)- reccomendations?

As title, wanna get hold of some tomorrow, are all the ones available from DIY shops, Halfords, etc etc all about as good as each other, or are some much better than others?

Kurust is supposed to be quite good - mate used it and said he had good results but I think it kills it and stops it spreading as opposed to actually removing it from memory.

I just want the stuff that you dip stuff in to remove surface rust.

Its not things that are mega rusty, just left in an enviroment that has let a bit of surface rust appear, and its in places thats not possible to sandpaper off

I've always used a wire brush for that kind of thing and is usually brings everything up a treat with a bit of elbow grease.

Assume this isn't possible in these circumstances ?

Get distilled white vinegar and leave the part in for 24 hours, Job done.

I have used this method and it works.

You can also get some bilt hamber stuff that also works.

Having tried most of them like kurust etc (I used to be into minis, you learn a lot about rust that way ) I can honestly say it doesnt seem to make any difference wether you do or dont use them, it lasts just as long if you just wire brust it all off and hammerite it, as if you do the same but put kurust on first.

the bilt hamber stuff is awesome to be fair, well worth the cash. The other option is proper electrolysis, that also works well!!

Im far too lazy to use a wire brush
