Having tried most of them like kurust etc (I used to be into minis, you learn a lot about rust that way ) I can honestly say it doesnt seem to make any difference wether you do or dont use them, it lasts just as long if you just wire brust it all off and hammerite it, as if you do the same but put kurust on first.
