yeah but means you cant take the piss out of employees which i think is fair...not that im sayin you do lol but the dividend is a fair enuff idea as you can pay yourself a minimum wage and just take a hefty dividend once a quarter

Grand' pw is still a decent whack for lot's of people.
As a self employed Kitchen fitter, 0n average probably onlydo a 'bag 'o sand' about a dozen weeks each year. ( £6-£800 pw rest of time)
If I could be arsed to do the odd Saturday,a few privates & stay on site past the usual 3 pm finish, then could do £50k gross a year.
But for me, the ammount of quality 'Family time' I get (especially with the kids) is much more important than chasing a few more pound notes
Cheers

I took a bit of a paycut in my current job, im down to 25k plus 10% min bonus, BUT, its so cushty its unreal, and that is what makes it worthwhile for me. As a service engineer i made good money, but the 60-70hrs + per week fucked me off, my standard of living was high, but quality of life was shit.
So for a little sacrifice in standard of living, my quality of life has improved 10 fold.
So i suppose what im curious of is, do those that earn 50k a year get to enjoy it?
