A colleagues son has bought a Zetec S celebration edition and it has just been back to the dealers for the second time for a new power steering pump and rack.

Just asking if this is a known issue with the Zetec S model Fiesta or has he just been unlucky. If it goes again he will reject the car on safety / fit for purpose grounds, sale of goods act etc.

I have known a few STs (mk6 Fiestas) to go back for new PAS pumps and racks because of odd knocking noises, so whilst it isnt totally common, its not unheard of.
