Default erst loom

hi all just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me . i need to take the loom out of my escort rs turbo (mfi) and was wondering if any one could put me inthe direction of where the engine loom unplugs from the car loom. any info or pics ect would be great .

The engine loom doesnt actualy have a plug on it some of the wires that come from relays and ecu you will have to cut to take the engine part of the loom out.

so to take that loom out to put another in ill have to take the whole lot out ? and put the whole new lot in ?

take it out into the bay

dont cut owt, when removing the roof clock wires run string in behind the wire so you can get the new wiring back up the pilar easy

its pretty easy really, go round undoing all the earths, undo the fuel pump, you can leave the e/w c/l wiring if you like

its already finished bud it didnt get any interest. so now decided to strip it

for ease of use in the future you could cut the looms now and simply wire in an aerospace spec multi pin connector. this will seperate the car loom from the engine loom and it'll just unplug for when you want to take the engine out. quick and easy.
