hi got a rs 2000 N reg 4x4 in aurlis blue, is the engine bay supposed to be white???

we have history going rite back to it being new but it says its always been that colour???

can any one shed any light on this??

 

Nice colour you will find most newish fords from around that reg will not be the same colour inside or engine bay,my mates dad has got an N reg escort van and his engine bay and inside the van are is still in primer and he baught it from new.Thats what happens when they try and cut costs.

 

so is that all you think it could be??? lol ford cutting cost's... typical ford haha.

yes mate thats the colour it shud be for do this on alot of ther newer models purely for cost saving purposes

 

i have a 95 rs2k 4x4 which is dark auberzine but the engine bay is black so i wouldnt worry too much mate

 

yeh the engine bays either came in white or black i think, my auralis 4x4 has a white one, no need to worry
