I don't think it will take up much space

 

when I left the role there was a decent stock I sold a load of pistons to trade as I was instructed to do so by the committee but there were some brand new cam cosworth cam covers in stock that were sold on to people without being offered to members first and when I started complaining the committee removed my mod status as i was not a committee member but fook em the members are there to be looked after not excluded from parts bought with their money now apparently i am going to be banned from the club by the top table for trying to look after the membership mind you in the current financial situation of the club I feel there may not be an RSOC in the near future if people aint careful

Ouch, Its nice to know your hard work was appreciated .....but that seems just typical of the RSOC in the past 8-9 years or so

 

I have heard the same...that most of it was sold to the trade.

Don't forget its a members club. The "top Table" do as the members say, or at least they should.

 

Thats how it should be but its not. The whole committee need throwing out and new ones appointed. It hasn't been a club for members for a number of years ...or at least not in my opinion and thats why I haven't rejoined. Not as though that will bother them as thats just the attitude that they carry

From our chat over a few beers at lemans last year, you seemed to very involved in it all chap...didnt know about your recent defrocking of position till now....the whole club seems to be going down hill recently.

thats the problem......it's not run by the members it's run by individuals with ego's...........the best thing is the local groups and the people u meet

 

most clubs are in it for the money thats the problem i didnt renew my rsoc membership when it ran out years ago because most of them were wankers was only a select few that was sound plus i didnt feel you got much for your money so i moved to another club that was ran by a propper sound geezer but he handed it down to someone else and straight away the membership price jumped up and it turned into a wank club in general a great earner for the new owners though so i left that one and now dont bother
