I have ordered a set of GAZ gold coilovers.

The guy i talked to said that you need to modify something on the steering arm ????? and also something in the back where the shocks are at.

Does anyone have some pictures of this and what they have done ???

I remember Mike R saying that the wheel arch around or near the mount has to be modified to stop the Coil over rubbing the wheel arch. Can't remember what side it was.

 

both sides at the back catch the coil springs, best way to do it is fit them and drive the car for a few miles and then you'll see where it catches then you can modify with a hammer ever so slightly.

 

steering arms etc dont need to be touched.

its as simple as Scott has said, the rear springs just rub ever-so slightly on the rear, and put right in moments.

 

u reset the tracking with the steering arms after fitting coil-overs
