Default dodgy grinding noise from back of car

Please don't slate me for what I have done but tonight I took my car to an empty car park in the wet and did some donuts getting into second gear. Now on the way home when I turn the wheel I get a really dodgy grinding noise from the rear of my car. Have I broke my diff? It's a RWD sapphire PLEASE HELP!!!!!

best bet is to jack it up at the rear and spin the wheels and listen to where its actually coming from

Right, I moved the car the other day to see if the problem was still as bad and all I was getting from the back right wheel now was a squeak when going right. I took it round the block and it didn't get any worse so it looks like the diff is ok.

Tonight I jacked it up to check the wheel bearings but both sides have no movement. HOWEVER, when lowering the car back down, shortly after the wheel touched the ground it would jump up with a loud clunk. I jacked it up again to see what it was, and when the pressure was off it, it clunked again. Then when lowering the jack it did the same. Each clunk also had definate movement on the wheel vertically.

What could this be?? is it the bearing at all? The noise when it first went was VERY loud, but now it is a squeak when turning the car right (doesn't squeak when turning left or straight).

The squeek is probably a dry bearing.
U got lowered suspension or any thing?

yeah, chassis dynamics adjustables all round, but remember it's gone from being a REALLY nasty grinding noise to this squeak.

ahh so could be unrelated to the grinding? I spun the wheels too and no noise.

Your sure you didnt hit someone when donutting and they jammed between the diff, and and the noise is their corpse scraping on the ground?

hmmm, possible, I'll check. There was a muffled scream but I overlooked it due to all the noise and smoke.
