Yep it I bought it back in 2003 but it has done less than 1000 Miles.
I got it before the GT series had been released at the time it was the turbo to have!

its more the prices themselves that has dropped alot on turbos
its almost the same as computer and high tech stuff.its not as expensive as it used to be...dont have to go back more than 3-5 years.then it was a totally other ballgame.

I'm pretty sure this is a genuine T4, if a prospective buyer wants to come and check it out I would have no problems.
In the short life it's had on the car it produced 480 BHP which is well over what T34 could do (I Think).
But I'm going for the 600 BHP mark now so it's got to make way for a GT35.

Bugger!! It's got all the Garrett Stamps in the right places as well.
I'll stick it on Ebay and see what it makes.

its not an RS500 type T4 - as mentioned the exhaust housing is 2 piece on them with the wastegate fitted in the secondary part - looks to be a hybrid of some type with a t34 .63 exhaust housing.

Thats what i thought Dave, by the weld and the housing, i reckon a T34 hybrid,

If it is i feel sorry for the guy, means its worth no more than about 400
