Marc, i have kinda founf the thing you are looking for this is the same as the one i bought..

however bought it from a tool specialst which now slips my memory who.

i remember at the time looking through demon tweeks after spending about 3 hours looking for one on the net and they sell the same thing.

Price wise i paid about £70 all in

demon tweeks do it for £72+vat, but once you have it... your sorted.

Marc,

You don't need a tube notcher. You can get the best fishmouth finish by using a program called tubemitre.

Google for it and the download.

I and and my mate went the saving route.... bought all the bent sections from custom cages (make sure the ends are profiled)...

then by straight lengths and profile with the cutting tool i linked above, weld in place.... sorted you built it for half the cost..

No its not.

You lay the tubemitre plan round the tube, mark with pen and then cut out with angle grinder and a quick tidy up with file. It really is easy and makes pefect joints at any angle between two different diameter tubes if you need to.

Never used it myself as I bought my cage already profiled but it looks a good little tool if your stuck.

the belt sander is spot on but i cant be paying out for 1 of them, lol, a tube notcher is simple as it can be powered by a battery drill etc, and wouldnt the tubes be hard to cut with a angle grinder? With the curves and all,
