Default Polishing machine.... recommenation?

I have been thinking about getting a polishing machine... I dont want to break the bank but still would like a recommeneded 'middle of the range' machine anyone can recommend? and an idea on the price I should be looking at paying for one thats worth buying?

The main reason for getting a machine is all the hours/days/weeks/months.. etc lol... I have spent polishing and waxing can then be spent driving the dam thing!

Cheers.

Presume you want a DA as opposed to rotary, so the new Meguiars is highly rated, Ł150.

Well a rotary is like an angle grinder, and can easily go through to the metal in the wrong hands.
You also need a paint thickness gauge, circa Ł500.
So a dual action is the one for amatuers and enthusiasts really, is a lot safer, yet still achieves good results.
I have the new meguiars, got mine from polishedbliss, was Ł150 with 2 pads.
What polishes you use depends on what paint you have.
If german, can't go wrong with menzerna.
If ford meguiars is good polish and highly rated.
