this is activated if the car goes over a sharp bump in the road or if the car tilts

its not the cut of switch, the problem is causing the FUEL PUMP and the ENGINE SPARKING to not work.

when the engine is turning over there is no sparking in the spark plugs, and the fuel pump is not kicking in also....

the fuel pump does not prime it self, the crack sensor is ok, i did have a problem with the crack sensor before and the fuel pump still primed it self.

though when the crank sensor went it caused it not to spark, which is happening now, i have no sparking and no fuel pump, but when this happened the car was WORKING FINE, it was running on my drive, i pulled the fuel pump fuse out/relay WHILST the engine was running, it stalled, i put the fuse back in, went to start it, NOTHING. turns over but there is no fuel pump and NO SPARKING???

its soooooo strange?

is there a relay that would cause the fuel pump and engine sparking to both stop at same time?

it shouldnt be the wiring as the car was only idling when i pulled the fuse out, i dont see how pulling a fuse can make wiring faulty? but then again i dont see how pulling a fuse can bring a car to a exspensive stand still...

hi there ecu will work even if its out of the holder, i had to fix my friends 4wd cossie that had lost its spark and fuel pump, this ended up being the red wire with a white stripe in the passenger footwell near the realy rail this is the live feed for the ecu it goes into a fuse holder with a 15 amp fuse good luck check live feed to ecu or blown fuse.

Have you checked the relay for the engine ecu. This relay is also a yellow one. I had a fault on my cossie 4x4 where it wouldnt start and it was the fuse holder for the fuel pump relay. The connections on the fuse holder were corroded. The electrican cut the fuse holder out and put a new one in. He was on 20mins lookin at my car and he cured it in that time.
