I think I get about 5mpg or less on the track, and have a 10 Gallon tank. A lap is 3 miles

So thats roughly 16 hot laps per tank...

Unless you are planning a VERY boring day, you will need to either bring ALOT of petrol or pay Mr Palmer 'slightly' over the odds for his fine fuel

Can you? whats the biggest we could go whilst still having enough room in the back for a set of slicks

Is the current one you were thinking of making 10 Gallons or did I dream that mate?

Some tools, some fuel, a gallon of water (or at least an empty container), a trolley jack (even one of those small ones), a torque wrench (for wheel nuts), a tyre pressure gauge, a spare spare wheel if you have one, and a box or container to put all of the above in when you empty it all out of your car at the track.

Thats always a good basis of equipment for a track day.

Remember to take your helmet, plus your arms, and lewis's eyes may need to be covered

Have fun

Also bring a sterile box to leave your brain in when you go out on track

I ran out at Trax last year, and started missing round the bends.

Unfortunately, Redline/Reyland gents were carrying loads of spare ELF racing fuel, and i bought a tank load of that at "Stupid ŁŁŁŁ" per litre

Apart from when on the power, cossies with pretty std geometry UNDERSTEER, putting slicks on the back will make that fookin horrendous!

It's actually 3.7 miles

And bearing in mind it shouldn't be run too low on fuel, we'd be looking at about 10 laps per tank

1000cc injectors rule man

Can you make a bigger tank please Mr Pro Alloy Sir?

Renton, can people pay for passenger laps when they are there?. I have paid up for just me and the car, but may have mates who want to be passengers on the day.

Thanks

NO. You can book and pay in advance for 1 passenger per car. unfortunatley Bedford is not the type of place you can rock upto with a load of mates and take them around...
Its DRIVER orientated driving arena NOT a racetrack. Therefore has no barriers and very limited spectatiing areas which enable you to push the cars harder than anywhere else safely.

They will be VERY strict on this so don't think you can sneak a load of mates in like you could at say Donno.

No worries Lee, in a way thats cool, sometimes its better concentrating on entertaining no. 1 rather than worry about everyone else that has tagged along

No disrespect to any of my mates if they read this After all they don't pay for the up keep of the car!
