has any 1 got a link to lowering my mk6 escort van i.e swapping over the rear beam
i cant find anything on the web

all right fella i have done this to my van
just remove the leaf springs and fit them under your rear beam but you have to line them up so that the wheels are equel length from the inner wheel archs and that the beam is stright as the rear load compensater bar is in line with the raer valve (if that makes sense

i did invest in new rear u brackets and bolts tho as my ones snapped

was told 80mm
i only cut one coil of the front springs but when im sitting in the van it sits level as i was told
was told to cut 2 coils off but i never did
dude mine sits nice and low on 16s
it is bumpy but you are riding on your bump stops i re-newed mine and it drive's so much better
