Dont waste your time. The rears only do 10% of the braking anyway. Even if you find a way of fitting them you will end up reducing the rear bias so much they will have the same braking power as drums.

If im honest i didnt notice any difference in fitting rear discs with regards braking performance....

i purchased the kit from Fiesta centre.... comes with everything bar the 2wd cossie calipers which i got from Ford.

The main reason I did this is once fitted on the car it widens the rear track

also the added benefit of looking nicer...

With race spec pads up front and standard cossie mintex in the back if the brakes are not warmed up the rear will lock... once warmed though stops immediatly with no locking .... no need for a bias valve.

For an every day road car i would recommend some standard compound pads and then change for track use

missed the rear beam part there.......

as for rear beam set up there are a few ways to go...

1)standard rear beam poly bushed..

2)standard rear beam with twin anti roll bars fitted.

3) fit the stiffer zetec-s rear beam..

personally I run the standard at the moment with poly bushes...

If I changed I would go for indepndant arms.. but thats along way off at mo... Biggest change is messing around with the poundage of springs to get the desired feel from the backend..

easier to adjust, no more scambling about under the car. Simply do it from inside. Does away with having to mate the Mk3 adjuster mech to the RS2000 cable too.

Leave the drums in place mate.

The rear brakes do so little of the overall braking it just isn't worth the time and expense changing them to something else which can cause an overbraked rear end and a large hole in th elocal scenery
