Car not running, no priming at fuel pump. Checked wires there are 4, orange and Violet, White and 2 blacks earth.
The White has 9 volts going through it and the O/V wire has nothing, with the ignition key in. Is this right??
Thought that the O/V wire would have a permament live!!! Also the fuel gauge is not giving a reading eevn though
there is petrol in the car (it is well below the empty mark and does n't move). Everything else is ok on the car, it turns over
PATS appears to be fine and all electrics are working, thee is a spark at the spark plug.

what car is it on? some cars dont prime the fuel pump when first turned on
