in St Phillips, Bristol.

im going for a career change so what sort of stuff should i do to prepare???

aint a clue

the job is for a service engineer, and at the mo i do CAD so i dont have any experiance.

any ideas how i can be better prepared?

ill pop in for a cuppa and a cossy engine on me way home then lol

its called fusionprovida or summut, here is the job description, i got an ONC in electronic engineering and a city and guilds 214 in maintenance systems technology, so hopefully thatll help...

SERVICE ENGINEER, based at our South West Service Centre
Please note interviews will be held locally.

We are looking to recruit a Service Engineer to work out of our South West Service Centre.
Reporting to the Service Centre Manager, the successful candidate will have responsibility for repairing and servicing Fusion pipe-jointing equipment and other plant equipment for our hire fleet and customers’ own machinery.

Duties include on-site emergency repairs, diagnostic & technical advice to customers over the telephone & training in the safe use of Fusion equipment. Other duties will be required to support the smooth running of the service centre.

Previous experience of mechanics, electronics and hydraulics are required along with a full clean (non-HGV) driving licence. Qualifications in these areas and a working knowledge of servicing petrol / diesel generators would be preferred, although further training could be made available to the right candidate.

dont know where that is! but ther r loads of lil industrial estates in st. phillips!

u gotta be there @ 11!?

how long did it take u to get to my house last time!? about say 20mins on top just for safety as traffic shouldnt be to bad around that time!

ill leave at 9.30am then, gives me plenty of time to get lost etc...
