Please note interviews will be held locally.
We are looking to recruit a Service Engineer to work out of our South West Service Centre.
Reporting to the Service Centre Manager, the successful candidate will have responsibility for repairing and servicing Fusion pipe-jointing equipment and other plant equipment for our hire fleet and customers’ own machinery.
Duties include on-site emergency repairs, diagnostic & technical advice to customers over the telephone & training in the safe use of Fusion equipment. Other duties will be required to support the smooth running of the service centre.
Previous experience of mechanics, electronics and hydraulics are required along with a full clean (non-HGV) driving licence. Qualifications in these areas and a working knowledge of servicing petrol / diesel generators would be preferred, although further training could be made available to the right candidate.
