Just got off a conference call with a good friend that left my company 6 months ago and his manager!!!

They want me to come in for an interview TONIGHT (only found out about it 20minutes ago )

I'm the ONLY one being offered an interview, its informal also!!! they have seen my work that is published and he basically wants me to work there but he HAS to interview as part of the comapny rules!!!

(just as well its informal, as i got to go straight from work and I spilt ketchup down my shirt this morning!!! )

ahhh...the things i do for a £10k payrise!!

I took a £15k pay rise when I moved to my current job but I fuckin' despise it and am moving back

takes me 15minutes to get to my current job...the new one would be approx 45minutes!! so not tooo bad!!

but theres no where for me to go in my current!! can't expand anywhere, just take over my bosses job when he retires...which is in 10 years time!!

New job will allow me to have options within the company after about 6-8 months!!! apparently i will have the option to stay in the office 5 days a week and design OR have 2-3 days out of the office, designing for a company AT that company where ever it may be BUT with this, it comes with more responsibilty AND a sudstantial increase in pay...which would easily see me over £35-40k if i went for this option, company car, blah blah!!! and no deadlines to get to the comapny, as i would be working there until complete!!

I shall see how it goes!!

Remember Keith, if they are offerng you 10k payrise and from what you have said above it sounds like they really want you! Go for 15k

not in cranfield, but in MK!! so i'm pretty sure i'll be lost most days!!

Applied for a job at Cranfield 3 years ago for Nissan!!! but didn't get that.... proberly coz i'm a ford man

I used to work at Nissan in Cranfield I figured they have a monopoly on the CAD market in MK!

CAD work is quite good at the moment!!!

its actually going more INTERIOR design now...construction is all good but FOOK does it get boring!!!

its designing certain aspects of pub interiors!!!
