Wasnt a good day yesterday went to noble motorsport in derbyshire for a rolling road setup got good power 177.9 bhp and 183.5 lbft. Then the headgasket decided to fail 3 mile down the m1 motorway so i drove it 2 mile on 3 clyinders to a sevice station.

My point is will it do any damage to the pistons?

no shouldnt have done any damage to ur pistons but mabye ur rods

 

He shouldnt have run it up if he knew that number 3 was filling with water should he Graham? Will have a look with our good friend and see what damage is caused maybe looking @ some new rods keep your fingers crossed!

might have done a bit of damage i had a burnt cracked piston its not cheap go for a group a gasket then ull need skimming and the whole shabang
