Default water in footwell

ive found a serious wet patch (almost a puddle) in the passenger footwell of my mk6 rs2000 4x4, ive taken out the battery to see if the tray has rusted through but it hasnt. the door rubber seems to be fine, i know the mk6 can suffer from leaky screens but that doesnt seem to be the case here. does anyone have any ideas as to where else it is likely to be coming from? any help would be great as i need to solve this.

More than likely coming down the a pillar from the sunroof drains. Sunroof has drains that run down the Apillar straight out into the sills. I'd lift your carpet and see what your floors like.

Theres a few blokes who have done something to solve this.

finaly found where the water is entering, it seems to be from the bottom of the door, coming in over the rubber. im going to change the rubber but can you think of another reason why it would enter there. ive checked the drain holes in the bottom of the door asnd they seem fine.
