As I know you went to Santa Pod, could you please do a quick review on what did what times?

 

GTRs= Fast as fuck

Other jap stuff= Nowt special

Few Fords= Embaressing/DNF



We left around 4.15pm so the results might have changed slightly after that

Can you please give specific times for the specific people that you know .

 

I cant remember TBH mike, was too cold to think, and the gross chicken i ate has gave me brain damage.

Remember 1 GTR in the 9s, quite a few in the low/mid 10s, Norris EVO in mid 10s, Few Supras/RX7s etc in the 11s, and eating the worst food ive had in my life

I wasnt all that impressed, but then again ive been watching Jap drag racing DVDs and in Japan nothing even turns up unless its capable of a 10 really (Even 200SXs etc), and in the street legal GTR class everything runs low 10s or 9s and has 145-165mph terminals

 

oh yes, 3x 14.2's and I did a 112 mph terminal on one! It wouldn't stop wheelspinning all the way down the strip.

Why do you even bother going to such events if you can't even remember anything about them, you might as well have stayed at home .

Anyone know how Ronnie did or the RK tuning R32?

 

Ronnie was mid 10s, RK got 10.4 i think.

what wheels/tyres were you running?

 

Mike, Andy Barnes creamed everyone... from what I remember he ran 4 sub 10's with the fastest being a 9.6 in the semi against Rocket Ronnie who ran his days best of 10.3

Andy barnes won the final in a 9.7 against Ron Kiddel when the RK car broke something.

Simon Norris had launching probs all day gutted as I wanted to see him into the 9's

Fair play to Andy, its a VERY VERY fast car, but its now and out and out drag racer where as most of the other cars are much more road biased. Still Awesome times and its great to watch.

RC Developments Evo?

 

The Sumo R34 still is road legal, them tyres are roadlegal etc (Unlike the Hoosier/MickeyT big balloon jobs some of the RWDs had on the back)

Andy Barnes now looks like one of the 3 Muskiteers now too

And ROFL@1000s of gimps wondering around in SumpPower baseball caps and most of em seeming to think they were part of the "team"
