Default FRST

I have a Frst and its currently off the road. Number 4 went down sep 06 and been in storage ever since, took head off piston looks ok?

Anyhow its got FSH, every MOT from new STACKS of receipts.

was running approx 230bhp on a 1.8zvh with all the bits!

I have owned 4 years in feb 08!! £££££ spent on the thing!!

Just wondering as she stands how much she could be worth?

If it's only the bottom end that's gone and the rest of the car is in very good condition then you should still get a decent amount - post pictures and we would be able to get a better idea.

what is actually wrong with the engine??

And what sort of price do you have in mind - regardless to what users on here say?

Cheers

I'm looking for a new project

Tbh it'd pay less than a standard frst.
So your running a 1.8 zvh that's 230bhp?
What turbo? And what is the donor bottom end from?
Who set it up?
Not been funny but that is a brilliant spec for a 1.8 as a mate has the 2.1 and it's not happy over 215 bhp.

All depends on what condition your bottom end etc is in and who maps it - 1.6 cvh - hybrid T2 - 195 bits and front mount on bayhoo custom map - roaded at 205bhp every time it was roaded - same with Gavs 1.6 frst on same map 200bhp.

Its a 1.8zvh built by SCC, and the turbo is a hybrid t25, receipts for everything

pace double cap intercooler. Beiges, 195 chip. kent cam solid followers. Ported and flowed head, de-comp plate.

FSE vavle, EBC brakes red stuff pads, lowering springs, original rims.

clifford concept 300 alarm, magnex exhaust, paddle clutch, oil seperator tank, quickshift, alloy radiator, cossie fuel pump, boost gauge Custom 20thou oversize pistons etc. But engine non runner obviously as previously stated, Number 1 went down. Piston looks ok??? but was smoking

I cant find the fault with the car, have a seperate 1600cc block and head.

The car was running 210bhp @ 14psi, then the boost was run at 17psi.. so i assume 230? not 100%.. Car went quick enough i couldnt complain with the performance.

heres some pics of my baby

full AA inspection report done from when i purchased her in feb 2004!
