Default Private Plate Q.......(again)

Well as some of you may have read on the new passionford forum, i was thinking about buying a personal plate from eBay, well tonight i bit the bullet and had a bid.

In the item description it said £105 transfer fees to be paid by buyer, i have just been sent an invoice and the seller has added the £105 fees, is this right? i thought i paid the £105 to DVLA?

Cheers

if his plates on a car he will need the full £105 to remove it from his car then put it on retention before transferring it over to you

perfectly normal

if he has it on retention already, he's just trying to make more money
