Right here we go again went up n saw andrew tonight he was just back from M Sport picking up his new body kit all carbon
He isnt buying a new shell he is his building the car around the bodykit Its going to be so much lighter than the old car

Just look how light the rear spoiler is keny is holding it up with one finger the spoiler on the old car is really heavy & wouldnt be possible to hold it with one hand

It will prob take a bit longer than the old car pics will e put up every time something is done

 

I really do hope he's painting the non-carbon parts black and leaving the carbon unpainted

Perhaps there can be a weight comparison done, i.e.

hood old 14 kgs - carbon hood. 6 kgs
fender old 2 kgs - carbon fender 0,2 kgs

The weight comparrison on the rear spoiler alone is amazing
Plus holding one of the quarter panels you barley know its in your
hand so when you add all the panels inc roof skin & doors tailgate
bonnet plus all metal work is going to be fabricated pipe ect.
Shold be a good bit lighter with near 700 bhp

Dont think he is botherd about time attack with the northern saloons & all the ford days he has got enough to do.But im sure if the rules change & they allow it he will be at knockhill

not much difference then?

 

Thats interesting as i personally would have thought that Time Attack would be a real test for the car and driver, of which i am sure he would do well in, and l am sure that the other championships are a good test, but Time Attack seems to get alot of publicity and coverage

Its going to be complete space frame the full car built around the panels all home made.
& Dave it will be in the northern saloons next year & all the ford track days

Time attack & the mill street motors saloon cars didnt want these cars as they had modified chassis..

 

Carlo may l ask why he does not want to build a car to compete in Time Attack,

Not sure mate i would need to ask him or he will read this & reply im sure they pissed him off last year saying his car could compete then phoning him a few nights before saying he wasnt allowed but not sure if thats why he isnt building a car for it.
