How do you actually get outta the Nuthouse to build these things Mr G?

It's soooo refreshing to see someone actually still keeping the faith with the blue oval and putting the finger up to the far east

Top stuff mate

Looks like evolution two is going to be lighter, a little bit wider and a whole lot wilder!

Shotgun another passenger ride when it's done for the before and after 'test' lol.

saw your car at knockhill a few months ago. it went like stink but their was a red caterham that was always close behind you.

good luck with it all. should be a beast when done!

guess the spoiler alone as about 5-7 grand alone then?

Watch the rules for totb as well as time attack. I remember there being rules about not modifying inner arches so that tubbed drag cars could not run. You should check these before you start if you intend to run it. I'm sure they would find a way to stop you if they wanted though, but unlike time attack the boys running it usually seem really up for seeing different mental cars And yes there are probably 10s of cars that are in breach one way or another but just warning you

Andrew... well done, bring back the Thunderloons I say, when men were men and cars were.. and cars were.... can we swear on here?

when cars were f*%king awesome

I can see the grid now ..

Andrew, Rod Birley, Martin Johnson/Greg Rose, Jon Cross, Graham Bahr, someone in a few of the old ones as well .. Baby Bertha, Rob Compton in his Vauxhall Belmont, the Bloomfied Sierra .. the list goes on and on ..

Rob Compton was trying to find all the old Thunderloons for a possible race... think hes still trying and he said it should include the new breed of "loons" ... of which this car fits into nicely

I think it will just put him in a different class with the likes of the Pro Drag Racers, as they recognised the need to have some of the top cars there - just means he won't be "directly" competing with the likes of the Norris Evo etc .

i would say the new car will be more of a space frame then the old one as it will have a tube going from front to rear to link the main suspension points.

i'm sure mikes car has a tube going front to rear does that make his tube chassis. good job hes not doing TA

Fair point although from what I've seen I can't really see how the Norris Evo can compete anyway. We'll have to see what the finished article looks like.
