Well, ive got some odd bits and bobs lieing around, so basically im going to just make something out of those.

Bottom end Ive got sorted already, some really nice forged pistons and a set of arrow rods with a steel crank.

The rest of it is a bit up in the air, but Im thinking probably its going to be worth giving the GT42R turbo ive got a go, as Ive never used it and its just sat there doing nothing, and Im going to put a mini cooper super charger on as well to try and get the 42R not to be so laggy.

Initially though, T38+Nitrous just till the engine is run in and im happy with it.

Yes mate, charger up till about 5000rpm then will bypass that and let the turbo take over, all the basic attempts Ive made at doing the maths for how it should work look pretty promising.

And if you can understand what he is going on about then I think you will find he explains how the turbo takes over from the blower.

That engine was just a temporary one to get it up and running and on the road and allow me to iron out a few issues and make the gear linkage work correctly etc, it was never intended to be in there long term.
Its going in my mini instead at some point.

This should turn out to be a very intersting read

This rod looks very similar to an Eagle... whats the difference between the Arrow and Eagle etc? is it purely down to better materials in the Arrows?

edited to say - PS get some more pics up asap

Eagles are basically cheap copies of arrow rods effectively.

Thats not to slag eagles off, Ive used them myself, they still work fine.
